Brad Smith was recruited from Bridgton Academy to be Director of Birch Rock Camp from 1993-1995. This was a transitional time for the camp as it made its way back to glory. Brad brought his great coaching experience to the camp and the staff responded by delivering a great combination of the camp traditions and a new way. Brad was known for his eloquent speeches and a steady hand on the tiller.

 For many summers after he moved on, Brad would return during staff orientation week and line our baseball field for us.  It was a great way for him to stay connected and check in with the staff that worked for him during the '93-95 summers.
