There is an easier way for me to do it, but its a bit complicated and requires me to give out the main password for the webserver. I can email you instructions if you would like.
-I just promoted your account to administrator, so now you can edit the front page. You will see that in the header of each section there is a little secret edit link. Clicking the one for the featured article takes you to something like this. Some of the text in the box is formatting stuff, some is the actual displayed text. In the image below I highlighted the parts that can be changed.

 Good catch, I moved it. For future reference, the way you change a page's name is by clicking the 'move' tab at the top of the page. It's a little weird, I don't know why it isnt just called rename, but that's how you do it.
-By the way, I have this index of pictures [[:Category:Pictures by year]] so if you know what year a picture you are uploading is from then in the summary box add <nowiki>[[Category:Pictures from 2000]]</nowiki> or whichever year it was so it shows up with the rest of the pictures from that summer.
