old Chief's Cabin sign

Between the summers of 2004 and 2005, the old Director's Cabin, a cabin that was lived in by many of Birch Rock's past directors including Chief, was torn down and rebuilt into the camp's first insulated, year round structure. It was used as the director's cabin on the first floor and the basement space was used for the art program. Sadly, a few years after it was built it burned to the ground four days before Opening Day 2008.

A new Chief's Cabin will be built for the 2009 season.
