Injun Joe's is the name of the building and general area where Campcraft is held. It is located at the bottom of the hill on the lake, near the swim tent. The name comes from the the name of the villain in the book Tom Sawyer who was half Native American, half Caucasian. Injun Joe's is usually bustling with people all four periods and both General Swims. There are multiple fire pits at Joe's so cabins use it for cabin night. When MWA comes back second session they often stay at Joe's for the last days of camp. The exact construction date of it is currently unknown, but some believe it was most likely built in 1929 when the Fish Hatchery and the Woodshop (originally the nature building) were built. However it does not appear on a map of campus from 1936 which has been lost somewhere in the Library, but it has been argued that it may not have been a real "structure" until the early 40's.
