On every page on Birocapedia there are links to help you navigate the site. The left sidebar, top tabs, and user links are all explained in this article.

The left sidebar has links to go to important pages on Birchrockopedia. Firstly there is the logo which you can click to go back to the main page. Below that there is the navigation toolbox. This box includes links to a few of the most useful pages. Below that is the [[Help:Searching|search]] box. At the bottom of the left sidebar there is the toolbox which has links to do things pertaining to editing.

If you are logged in you can see some new user links at the top right of any page. If you click on the link with your username you go to the mini page about yourself which you can edit. To the left of that you there is a link that takes you to your message board. The my preferences link takes you to a page where you can edit your personal preferences for this site. There is  also a link to see the pages you are watching and a link to see all the contributions you have made to Birchrockopedia articles. There is finally a link to log out.

On every page on Birocapedia there are links to help you navigate the site. The left sidebar, top tabs, and user links are all explained in this article.

The Left Sidebar

The left sidebar has links to go to important pages on Birocapedia.

  • The logo is a link to the main page
  • The navigation box has links to a few commonly visited pages
  • The search box is where you can search for pages
  • The toolbox has links for more technical things

The Top Tabs

The tabs at the top of every page lead you to thinks pertaining to that page

  • The leftmost tab tells you what namespace the article you are looking at is in and acts as a link back to the article if you are in the talk or history tab
  • The discussion tab takes you to the article's talk page
  • The edit tab takes you to the page where you can edit the text of that article
  • The history tab shows you the history of edits to that page
  • The watch tab will add the article you are looking at to your watchlist

User Links

In the top right are your user links.

  • The link with your username takes you to your user page which is basically a mini page about yourself
  • The 'my talk' link takes you to your user talk page which is a place where others can leave you messages
  • The 'my preferences' link takes you to a page where you can edit your personal preferences for the site
  • The 'my watchlist' link shows you the pages you are watching
