Pages on Birocapedia should all conform to a loose style in order to keep the pages somewhat uniform. You can get a good idea of this style by just looking at some articles and seeing how they were layed out. You can also look at this list below to see what to do and what not to do.

  • Do not use too many headers in one article. Only use one if you are sure you can't just make another paragraph or something.
  • Don't use too many pictures. Thumbnails should never fill up the entire side of an article. If you want to include a large number of pictures in an article you can use a gallery if you want.
  • Add links to other pages in your article. One should be able to get to any article from any article by clicking links. Do not over use links though. One link per sentence is enough, and never link to the same thing twice in the same section of an article.
  • Most of the time pictures should be put on the right side of an article in thumbnail form with a small caption.
  • Do not made an article that is too broad when it could be broken into smaller articles. An example of this would be the long distance swim article. The individual long distance swims have their own articles.
  • Do not use full names! Do something like Harry N. when you want to reference someone.
