Hold your horses! Are you sure this file has not already been uploaded? Birocapedia has more than fifteen hundred pictures, you know. If you know what year your picture was from then look in this handy-dandy index of pictures Category:Pictures by year to find the one you want to use. If the picture you want to upload was in the Daily Journal then it has most likely already been uploaded.
One more thing—If you know what year the picture that you want to upload is from, then in the summary box copy in [[Category:Pictures from year]]. This will put the image into a page with all the rest of the images from that year.
To view or search previously uploaded files go to the list of uploaded files, (re)uploads are also logged in the upload log, deletions in the deletion log.
